Welcome to another edition of the Soundmass.com Update. Firstly, we though we would let you know that we will have stalls at RezFest on the 23rd and 24th of March (headliners: Jars of Clay and Newsboys) and Sounds Music Festival on the 29th of March (headliners: MXPX and Project 96). A look at the headliners will give you a good idea of the kind of CDs we will be taking to sell at each event, but if you’re planning on going and want us to bring something in particular – please let us know.

Apart from the Synnove, Martyrs Shrine and Eternal Emperor pre-orders that we told you about in last week’s special update, we would also like to draw your attention to the new album from Grave Forsaken, titled “Destined For Ascension”, which is being released on March 26th. It is full-on Jesus metal in the tradition of the classic Christian metal bands and we are now taking pre-orders for it.

Also worthy of mention is the Metal Mind digipak re-issues of all 8 of Mortification’s studio albums from 1992 to 2000. All these CDs contain bonus tracks, are limited to 2000 numbered copies and have been digitally remastered using 24-bit process on a golden disc. They are now in stock and can be purchased individually or altogether as a pack at a saving of $50 off the individual price. And if digital downloads is your thing, we have also had Mortification’s “Relentless” CD added to iTunes this week. On top of all this, we have also just added another 50 short and long-sleeve t-shirts of the classic full-colour Mortification self-titled cover to our webstore, plus a handful of hoodies of the same design. We have even added a large old-school Mortification logo on the back this time and still dropped the price! The sizes range from small to XXXXLarge, so make sure you get in quick to score your size if you missed out last time!
