“Before the legendary Norwegian Christian black metal act Antestor forged their legacy, the members founded CRUSH EVIL in 1989. And long before the churches were burning, Antestor’s signature atmosphere of sorrow and divine darkness lay solid in the form of utterly heartfelt death doom. In 2026 we see this historical monument of defiance released with on CD with an extensive 20-page booklet. It encompasses Antestor´s first two EP´s “The Defeat Of Satan” and “Despair”, music that laid important cornerstones for Antestor’s nothing-short-of-legendary impact for the Christian metal scene, but also as a thorn in the side of all that see black metal as inherently satanic. Antestor was hated by some, alienated by most and embraced by the One.” -Nordic Mission Productions
