Adorned Graves is a band from Germany who love their old-school metal sound with some twists and turns. Founded in 1993 by brothers Cailen and Deafon in defiance of the burgeoning grunge scene, the band name was changed from Ascension to Adorned Graves in 1998 and a private demo recorded. “Demo `98” had all the trademarks of “the Graves” – epic, melodic, furious, dark, doomy. A pivotal moment came in 2011 when guitarist, music teacher and producer Wormser joined the brothers. Things just clicked and the trio issued their first official release “The Hand Of Death” EP in 2015, showcasing their originality and diversity. The 2017 epic full-length “Out From The Depth Of The Grave“ displayed even more of the band’s depth of talent. A few years later “Being Towards A River” was released, reverting to more of an old-school speed/thrash sound. 2023 saw Adorned Graves treading old and new paths alike with their full-length “The Earth Hath Opened Her Mouth“. Musically, we got more of their trademark epic doom thrash that saw them regularly spotted on “Best of 2023” metal lists worldwide. Showing no sign of slowing down, the band recorded a new EP – “Dream I” – to celebrate ten years of Adorned Graves music and with this released they went back to their roots with true-traditional-100%-old-school metal. 2025 also saw the release of a limited edition vinyl titled “Wouta”, which contained remixed, remastered and revocalised versions of some of their best songs.

Adorned Graves now present you with “Dream II”, a companion piece to “Dream I” that sees them travelling back in time again to celebrate the old-school, the music that they grew up listening to. “Dream II” is five more tracks that are old in style but fresh in sound.
