Up first, the legendary Southern California band VENGEANCE will grace the first 5 tracks of this Gems series consisting of the band’s ‘red demo’ tape-only release. One of, if not the, earliest introductions to Christian thrash music. These special 5 tracks were recorded in 1987 and would launch one of the most historic moments in early Christian extreme music! Volume III will also feature another classic Christian metal release that is also celebrating its 20th anniversary release this year – West Coast rockers TYKKUS with their 2005 EP entitled ‘Ümlaut’. This classic was originally released on a very limited quantity CD-R. If you are not familiar with TYKKUS, get ready to blast the roof off with this very Judas Priest inspired classic piece of Christian metal history.
